Bert Briones, a founding partner and managing attorney of Debt Relief Law Group, brings a wide range of finance and legal experience to his clients.
Bert’s focus on personal finance law is based upon deeply-held beliefs that the consumer rights of each client must be protected and hard-earned financial security preserved.
Bert is a skilled contract negotiator with proven results in negotiations over many years. He is the pioneer in the field of personal finance law. He enjoys professional and personal satisfaction by developing and implementing legal strategies which help improve and protect the personal financial lives of his clients.
Bert’s experiences in the finance, public relations, and legal industries have fortified his commitment to providing exceptional client service. Bert’s commitment to his clients begins with recruiting the brightest and best advisors available, to ensure that his clients’ needs are met at the highest level at all times.
Bert studied business at the undergraduate level and is a graduate of Trinity Law School. He is a member of the California State Bar, the Orange County Bar Association, the Orange Coast Estate Planning Council, the CFL Certified Contract Advisors and Wealth Counsel, a leading national organization of top estate planning attorneys.
Bert is also a fellow with the Southern California Institute and the Advanced Wealth Studies Institute, providing high-quality estate planning education and information to financial professionals throughout the United States. In addition, he has written legislative analysis as a staff member of the Judiciary Committee in the California State Senate.
David Miller

David combines the business savvy gleaned from years of building and running successful businesses with a heartfelt commitment to helping individuals and families grow their wealth and plan their financial future.
After receiving his Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara, David took a management position with wholesaler JAM Distributors in Orange, California. He created and implemented the wholesaler’s pharmaceutical division and grew its revenues to nearly 100 million dollars. More recently, David has provided financing and consultative services to the wholesale and retail markets through his firm, the e-tail network, Inc.
David has advised and assisted lawmakers, regulators and elected officials, including California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, on statutory, regulatory and economic matters related to health care product distribution. He has also authored rulemaking comments and testimony to the Federal Food and Drug Administration and advised members of both the House and Senate on statutory and regulatory issues surrounding the health care product distribution industry.
Since earning his Juris Doctorate in 1990, David has served as a prosecutor for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office; worked in private practice in the areas of criminal defense, family law and tort litigation; handled over 100 court and jury trials; served as Judge pro tem in the Sacramento County Superior Court; and developed a pro bono program to provide legal aid to battered woman and children through Sacramento’s WEAVE shelter. David has served as court appointed counsel for children on numerous child custody matters, including a groundbreaking secondhand smoke case that garnered significant national media attention. His insight, experience and winning personality have made him a sought-after guest on nationally syndicated radio talk shows as well as both local and national television.
David’s commitment to helping families and children extends well beyond the courtroom. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County and the Inland Empire. David and his firm also proudly support other fine charities in the community including the Orangewood Children’s Home, the Orange County Marathon, the Jess Miller Family Foundation, the Queen of Heart’s Foundation and the A. Gary Anderson Children’s Foundation.
Bill Oei
Bill brings extensive experience in the area of estate planning to Red Hill Law Group, having helped thousands of families plan for the future, protect their loved ones and assets, and leave a lasting legacy. Bill counsels clients on all aspects of estate planning, including living trusts, wills, probate avoidance, durable powers of attorney, advanced health care directives, guardianships, conservatorships, probate and many more. He also advises clients on business planning (from formation through exit) and asset protection.
Bill has authored numerous articles for a wide range of leading legal publications. In addition, he is a sought after lecturer, teacher and presenter on various estate planning topics. He is a member of the California Bar, and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
When not practicing law, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife, as well as coaching and playing various sports with his three boys.
